Napoli is open to signing two Arsenal players as part of the Victor Osimhen transfer deal.

Napoli is open to signing Emile Smith Rowe or Takehiro Tomiyasu as part of Arsenal’s move for Victor Osimhen, according to reports from Italy.

Osimhen was expected to leave Napoli at the end of the season, with the club’s president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, indicating in January that the striker might move to Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, or a Premier League team. The 25-year-old, who scored 15 goals in Serie A this season, also has the option to join the Saudi Pro League but prefers to stay in Europe.

However, Corriere dello Sport reports that Napoli has not received any offers for Osimhen, who has a €130 million (£110.8 million) release clause. Osimhen is reportedly aiming for a Premier League move, with Arsenal resurfacing as an interested party.

To offset the high cost of Osimhen’s transfer, Napoli is interested in Smith Rowe and Tomiyasu. Napoli had shown interest in both players during the January transfer window before Tomiyasu signed a new contract in March. Smith Rowe, who struggled for playing time under Arteta this season, starting only three Premier League games, is understood to be available for transfer, with Fulham making him a priority target.

Chelsea has also shown interest in Osimhen, though it is unclear how they would finance the high costs associated with his transfer and wages. Former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel mentioned the mutual interest between Osimhen and the club in February.
