Jose Mourinho is already encountering a transfer issue in his new position as a key player has reportedly ‘agreed terms’ with Arsenal.

Jose Mourinho is poised to take charge at Fenerbahce, but he’s already dealing with a transfer dilemma as Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing full-back Ferdi Kadioglu.

The 61-year-old Portuguese manager is said to have agreed to a two-year contract with the Turkish club, which is still recovering from their Super Lig title loss to rivals Galatasaray.

However, Mourinho may quickly lose a key player if Arsenal’s plans materialize. Reports indicate that Kadioglu’s strong performances have caught Mikel Arteta’s attention, and it is even claimed that Arsenal have already reached an agreement for his transfer.

Since joining from NEC Nijmegen in 2018, Kadioglu has made 199 appearances for Fenerbahce, scoring 17 goals and providing 22 assists. Arsenal fans might get a closer look at him this summer, as the 24-year-old has been included in Turkey’s Euro 2024 squad.

Arsenal is reportedly looking to bolster their left-back position to strengthen their squad and challenge Manchester City in the Premier League. Oleksandr Zinchenko had inconsistent performances last season, with Jakub Kiwior also playing in that role. Kieran Tierney, who spent the season on loan at Real Sociedad, is expected to leave the club this summer.

Meanwhile, Mourinho has yet to travel to Istanbul due to his media commitments in London. The former Champions League winner with Porto and Inter will be at Wembley on Saturday night, joining TNT Sports for their coverage of the final.
