“I require reassurance…”: Newcastle’s in-form striker, Alexander Isak, discloses his readiness to move to Arsenal only ‘under ONE CONDITION’ following encouraging discussions with Mikel Arteta regarding a potential transfer to the Emirates.
Arsenal appears keen on acquiring Alexander Isak this summer, willing to invest a significant £100 million for his talents. Interestingly, they had the opportunity to secure him for £37 million less just two years ago, but Newcastle United swooped in and acquired him for £63 million in 2022. Since then, Isak has been in sensational form, scoring 29 goals and providing four assists in 60 appearances for the club.
When Isak initially moved to St James’ Park, Arsenal reportedly had their sights set on him. However, they missed out on the opportunity, and now, his price tag continues to rise as he establishes himself as one of the Premier League’s most prolific scorers.
As fate would have it, Arsenal may have a second chance to sign Isak as Newcastle faces financial constraints, leading them to consider offloading players to balance their books. Isak could potentially be one of the players to depart, with reports suggesting a staggering £100 million valuation. Tottenham Hotspur is also rumored to be interested in securing his services.
