Atletico Madrid has recently reiterated their firm stance on Omorodion, insisting they will not let him go for a low price. Speaking last October, while Omorodion was on loan at Alaves, Simeone expressed confidence in the player’s potential to become an important figure for Atletico.
“You can see his evolution in the games we’ve monitored at Alaves,” Simeone told reporters. “He’s young, strong, fast over long distances, and has excellent box play. We hope he does well at Alaves because he has a future with Atletico. He was with us briefly, but he showed humility and a strong work ethic. He will be an important player.”
