BREAKING NEWS: Arsenal’s staggering financial commitment to Sterling is revealed as details of the massive contract the Gunners secured are made public.

According to talkSPORT, Raheem Sterling is on a season-long loan from Chelsea, with Arsenal only responsible for paying 30 percent of his £325,000 weekly salary, which amounts to £97,500. This figure is notably lower than initial reports, which suggested that Arsenal would be covering half of his wages, around £100,000 per week. Instead, Chelsea will bear the bulk of Sterling’s £17 million annual salary—approximately £12 million—while Arsenal’s financial commitment is capped at around £5 million.

Additionally, Arsenal is not required to pay any loan fees.

Given the minimal financial outlay, this deal is highly favorable for Arsenal. If Sterling performs well, the club’s sporting director, Edu, may view it as a strategic and cost-effective acquisition.

Sterling, 29, could make his debut for Arsenal in the upcoming North London Derby against Tottenham Hotspur. His ability to play multiple positions could be crucial, especially with captain Martin Ødegaard likely to miss the match due to an ankle injury sustained against Austria.

With Ødegaard sidelined, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta might need to adjust his tactics and could consider repositioning one of his forwards into the attacking midfield role. Although 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri is an option, it is more probable that Kai Havertz, who has recently been utilized as a striker, will fill in. Sterling’s versatility, however, makes him a strong candidate for the role as well.

Renowned for his adaptability in attack, Sterling is expected to bring flexibility and a significant impact as Arsenal looks to secure a victory at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
