Chelsea has been active in the transfer market, securing Conor Gallagher for £33.7 million from a Spanish club. The club is also negotiating to sign Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion. According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea might finalize the deal before the transfer window closes.

Atletico Madrid accepted Chelsea’s £35 million offer for Omorodion, but Enzo Maresca wants to complete the deal for Victor Osimhen first, as Napoli continues to raise their asking price for Romelu Lukaku, as reported by Ben Jacob.

Manchester City’s Julian Alvarez has been linked to both Atletico Madrid and Chelsea. However, Atletico will only sell Omorodion if they secure Alvarez first. Arsenal and Atletico are the main contenders for Alvarez this summer, and the Daily Mail reports Atletico is offering Felix as part of a potential deal.

Manchester City values Alvarez at £75 million, with an additional £10 million in performance-based add-ons. Since joining City in August 2022, Alvarez has scored 36 goals and provided 18 assists across all competitions. He recently stated that he is focused on the summer Olympics but might have updates after the Games in Paris.

While Manchester City appears open to transferring Alvarez, Chelsea’s manager hasn’t pursued the opportunity to sign him. Instead, Chelsea is focused on finalizing Victor Osimhen’s transfer, having secured the necessary funds. Antonio Conte is also in talks with Romelu Lukaku’s agent. Chelsea is eager to see their next player arrive at Stamford Bridge soon.
