HERE WE GO: Bukayo Saka shares a heartfelt message with his former Arsenal teammate Emile Smith Rowe, who has left the club.

Bukayo Saka has encouraged his former Arsenal teammate Emile Smith Rowe to “go and shine” following his transfer to Fulham.

Smith Rowe has signed a five-year contract with Fulham, with an option to extend it by an additional year. The 24-year-old joined Arsenal’s academy at the age of 10 and made 115 senior appearances for the Gunners across all competitions.

Both Smith Rowe and Saka emerged from the Arsenal academy at the same time and played a crucial role in Mikel Arteta’s efforts to revive the club’s fortunes.

In response to Smith Rowe’s departure, Saka posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, saying: “From Hale End to the Emirates and all the memories on our journey. It’s been an absolute pleasure. Go shine bro!”

Arsenal will receive an initial £27 million from the transfer, while Smith Rowe will benefit from regular first-team football, which had become increasingly rare under Arteta.
