CONFIRMED TRANSFER ✅✅: “Pep Guardiola is desperate to keep the £50M-rated attacker, believing he will perform as well as Cole Palmer, while Enzo Maresca and Boehly have offered £32M.”
Chelsea is preparing to target Manchester City star Oscar Bobb, aiming to capitalize on uncertainties similar to those that surrounded Cole Palmer at the Etihad.
Palmer made a significant impact at Chelsea last season, being named Premier League Young Player of the Season after scoring 22 goals and providing 11 assists in his debut campaign.
His impressive performances earned him an England call-up, and his reputation continued to grow during the tournament in Germany. Palmer made key contributions, including assisting Ollie Watkins in the semi-final and scoring in the final for the Three Lions.
Chelsea reportedly believes they can attract Bobb in a similar manner, by offering him more playing time at Stamford Bridge. Recruitment chief Joe Shields, who previously worked as a scout for City, holds Bobb in high regard.
Chelsea expert Simon Phillips stated: “Sources from SPTC have confirmed that Chelsea is now considering Bobb as a potential option due to his similar situation to Palmer’s last summer. Chelsea thinks they may have a chance to sign Bobb if he doesn’t get enough playing time during pre-season and feels he won’t have adequate opportunities at City.”
